Career & College Readiness
What We Do
The more exposure students have to future career opportunities and the world of work, the more likely they are to choose a career that’s right for them – where they’ll be happy and successful. It’s our job to help students get that exposure.
That’s why we work directly with students in grades 7-12 to provide career exploration opportunities like job shadows and industry tours to help them learn about in demand careers. It’s also why we partner with teachers in grades K-12 to help them bring career exploration into the classroom through lesson plans, special training and more. Take a look at our opportunities for both students and educators to find out more about what we offer.
Of course, we can’t do our work without partnerships with local businesses. If you’re a business person with a passion for education, we’d love to work with you. Check out our Workforce Development page for ways you can get involved.
