Kent CAN
Kent CAN is a grant-funded initiative of Statewide Autism Resources and Training (START) It is a regional collaborative network of the Kent ISD that is working to implement "best practices" for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Positive Behavior Support
Information and resources for student intervention plans grounded in a framework of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The focus is on reducing the intensity, frequency, and/or complexity of existing problem behaviors by providing individualized responses to situations where problem behavior is likely.
Transition
All students leave school to create their adult lives. "Transition" describes that critical transformation and includes the education, legal information, planning, and community connections our special education students need to achieve adult goals.
Traumatic Brain Injury Transition Team (TBITT)
The TBITT Team provides educational resources to educational staff, students with brain injuries (TBI), and their families and peers during the transition from a medical setting to the educational setting.
